Can-Am Outlander 1000XT Walkaround

Welcome to my first real video "article" featuring a video walkaround of my new 2014 Can-Am Outlander 1000XT, followed by a video look at some of its features and some of my initial impressions.

The purpose is to inform folks who may not be familiar with the Can-Am Outlanders. The idea being that it gives potential buyers an online look at the machine and some of its features from the comfort of home. Essentially, it's something I wish I had had available when I was researching and "shopping" online.

The other purpose was to practice shooting and editing video as I am considering a shift away from my traditional "photography and written word" articles towards more video articles. Because it's my first-ever attempt - you will have to tolerate the fact that the production quality is not terribly good. There are focus issues, some camera shake, and the exposure is off in parts. But bear with me and hopefully I will improve with time and practice.

One thing I can tell you for sure already, though, is that if I thought video was going to be quicker and easier - boy was I wrong! It's a lot harder than it looks! Oh yea, and an hour spent working on the shot has to be worth at least 4-5 hours of post-production time! Live and learn!
